2009 Batik Fashion - Solo Batik Fashion Show
A number of models brought the batik clothing design in batik fashions 2009 Solo Batik Fashion Market page Jenar Ngarsopuro Windu, Solo, Saturday (11/7) evening. 2009 Solo Batik Fashion models featuring hundreds of classic to modern batik, original from Solo on the second day featured a number of works from the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from two villages in Solo the famous batik villages and Lawean Kauman batik. This Event is attended by hundreds of foreign tourists who occasionally had come to this spectacular event and enjoy batik especially from Solo for various styles and designs of Batik Solo.

Betawi Batik Unique Motif, Design and Ideas
Who would have thought if the heritage Betawi culture is so diverse, from the culinary to heritage of arts and tradition which maintained from generation to generation. Unfortunately, very few children and grandchildren of Betawi people who keep the legacy of their ancestors.
This can be seen from the typical batik Betawi that can only be found in Jakarta Textile Museum. Indeed there are batik artisans who still survive, but they come from outside Jakarta.
This condition is cause for serious concern, why batik Betawi must wander in the village itself. Batik Betawi become isolated in their villages.
Betawi batik batik is unique among other local specialty. The uniqueness that is present in striking colors, as well as the motive.
Motif is more focused on art Betawi culture is influenced by Arab culture, India, Netherlands, and China. Judging from the motive, batik betawi divided into several types, which known as Ondel-ondel, Nusa coconut, Ciliwung, Rasamala, and Salakanegara.
From those names, apparently Betawi batik motif has its own origin. Ondel-ondel striped motif is an example, this motif is made lift-ondel Ondel figure as a puppet who can resist reinforcements.
This motif contains the hope that the wearer gets a better life and a lot of reinforcements. Usually this type of patterned batik Betawi is used in traditional Betawi big event.
From the map was formerly known Nusa Coconut Jakarta, to be the Sunda Kelapa, Jayakarta, Batavia, and Jakarta. Nusa Kelapa name was taken by the ancestors of the Betawi people at the time, to be Betawi batik motif.

Batik exhibition
Welcoming the international batik which falls on October 2, the public in Surabaya also helped enliven it by holding a batik exhibition held at two different places with different concepts. Is Cito, City Of Tommorow, a shopping center located on the border of Surabaya-Sidoarjo, and the Museum House of Sampoerna is located on Park street no6 Sampoerna.
Mall Cito who introduced as the mall is projecting itself into the center of batik, that exhibition has a national titles which is held on the 1st floor. Dimuai from date 1 to 5 October 2010, the visitor can see the various batik from traditional to modern batik exhibited there, and there is also batik for sale. For batik which are meant to be sold, the seller is the exhibition deliberately not put a high price.

Introduction
Indonesia have their own unique styles that normally take styles from daily life, including behaviour such as blossoms, characteristics, creatures, tradition or the individuals. The colors of "pesisir batik", from the seaside places of northern Java, is especially vivid, and it assimilates impact from the Javanese, Arabic, China and Nederlander societies. In the colonialism times pesisir batik was a preferred of the Peranakan China, Nederlander and people of mixed Asian and European ancestry who are called Eurasia.
